Apprentice Carpenter

We have a number of positions available for an enthusiastic people looking to start or continue their carpentry apprenticeship in the Margaret River area.
Successful candidates will be employed full time, be paid award wages and receive training in a Certificate III Carpentry.
If the idea of working with your hands, building structures, and working on construction sites appeals to you, a carpentry apprenticeship ticks all the right boxes. You will get the opportunity to work alongside professional tradespeople and you will learn all aspects of the carpentry industry. You will also receive dedicated support from HIA Apprentices in all aspects of your training and employment.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
- Have a great attitude towards work, self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn
- Be punctual, reliable and hardworking
- Be committed to finishing their apprenticeship and become a fully qualified carpenter
- Be a team player
- Have an attention to detail
- Must have a driver’s licence or reliable transport
- CI Card (White Card) (or be willing to obtain prior to starting)
Applicants who have already commenced their apprenticeship training or lost their position due to the Covid-19 outbreak would be given priority.
Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply for this position.
