Get Ready
You'll get connected with one of our friendly Youth Coaches whose will listen to and support you.
We'll discuss your goals, interests, skills, and experiences to create a personalised plan that reflects who you are and gets you feeling confident and motivated.
Get Set
Whether it’s through short courses, certifications, work experience opportunities or on-site workshops, we’ll help you level up and get the skills you need to land a job.
We'll be by your side as you create a resume, search and apply for jobs, attend job interviews and even sign your employment contract.
We'll also offer opportunities to make meaningful connections with fellow participants, local employers and community organisations.
Get that Job
Once you’ve landed a job, our In-Work Support Coaches will continue to support you for up to six months.
They will make sure you are ready for day one and regularly check-in to help you settle into a new routine and ensure you thrive in your new role.
For parents and guardians
When your child joins MEGT's Transition to Work program, they'll get one-on-one support and practical guidance to help them get job-ready and into work.
Our Youth Coaches reduce the overwhelm by breaking big decisions about jobs, courses and careers into manageable next steps. We also offer a range of opportunities to make meaningful connections with fellow participants, local employers and community organisations.
With structure, encouragement and connections, parents can be confident that there is an extra someone in their child's corner.
