Position Description:
We are seeking a motivated, committed, and eager-to-learn 2nd-year Apprentice to join our small but mighty team. You will receive comprehensive hands-on training and mentorship from our lead Installation Specialist.

This full-time position will require you to travel to various sites around Melbourne, Bayside, and the Mornington Peninsula.

Learning Opportunities:
In this role, you will develop expertise in:

  • Reading and assessing blueprints to determine the best course of action.
  • Assessing the quality and durability of sub-structures and materials.
  • Complying with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Coordinating with clients and other trades as needed.
  • Learning different and varied patterns for plank and parquet installations, including direct stick, engineered parquetry, solid timber, wall cladding, ceiling cladding, and staircase dressing.
  • Operating tools, machines, and other equipment.
  • Expertise in timber maintenance and cleaning.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Must-Have:
    • White card (or willing to get it)
    • Driver’s licence
    • Own van/car
  • Requirements:
    • Currently in the 2nd year of Certificate 3 in Flooring Technology,
    • Basic knowledge of hand tools,
    • Ability to perform heavy-lifting tasks,
    • Ability to commute to job sites across Victoria,
    • Punctual, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude with a genuine interest in Flooring Installer,
    • Strong Work Ethic & team player.
