Apprentice Pastry Chef

Full-time Apprentice Pastry Chef/Artisan Baker role for the right person, looking to learn from an expert in the industry in a very busy bakery making everything from, sourdough, croissants, cakes, slices and savoury items like pies and vegetarian items.

You will be using machinery, commercial oven, mixers and dough sheeter.

This role is for an immediate start and involves early starts and working one day of the weekend.

Work-life balance is very important to me as someone on both sides of the industry for the last 34 years and having had many apprentices previously and worked as a TAFE teacher I will make sure you are always learning and enjoying your role as a pastry chef/ baker!

TAFE training for the apprentice will be at William Angliss College or work place training whichever works best, and chef jackets and aprons can be supplied.

You will be paid  award wage for your efforts as I understand how living as an apprentice is a great opportunity, but at the same time can be difficult.

Potential to be signed off early after schooling is completed is a possibility for someone who has displayed the abilities of a qualified pastry chef by that stage.
