Chek Air Conditioning is a small family owned business and has been established for over twenty years.
Chek Air Conditioning has a part-time office administration traineeship (2-3 days per week with the opportunity to work full-time in busy season) available.
We will require the successful application to work full-time hours over the September School Holidays for training.
This is an ideal entry-level opportunity and a great way to earn and learn whilst gaining valuable administrative experience in areas such as:
- Answering telephones, directing calls, taking messages and responding to customer enquiries
- Recordkeeping and information handling (including filing, scanning and archiving)
- Ordering and keeping record of stock and materials
- Sorting and logging emails and mail for distribution
- Data entry, spread sheeting and word processing
- Filing and records management
- Providing general administrative support to the team
Applicants should be keen to learn, motivated to achieve goals and eager to build a career within an office/administration environment.
You should also demonstrate:
- Confident and articulate communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident when answering telephones, directing calls, taking messages and responding to customer/supplier enquiries
- Have the aptitude to learn new computer systems quickly.
- Accurate keyboarding skills
- Ideally, you will also demonstrate reliability, punctuality and customer service skills gained through prior work experience.
