Your Next Opportunity:

This is a Role created through expansion and our desire to give the right people an opportunity to follow a structured Traineeship with a clear progression path to Property Manager. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about getting into the property Industry. You will be part of a growing local company with a structured vision for expansion into the future. It will be expected that you will work hard and remain committed to the training process while maintaining a balance with personal or family life. Something we think is very important.

This is a Monday to Friday role with some flexibility around working hours if needed

We place a particular emphasis on our people having full support in their role. This includes, but isn’t limited to, Management Support when you need it, the knowledge base of the entire team, up to date technology and tools that evolve with the industry.

You will be an active participant within the team, you will be heard and Supported at every level. Devcon is not your typical franchise type office and as such we have inclusive culture and resources that run up and down the entire property industry

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Completing REIQ Traineeship
  • Assisting Property Management Team with day to day tasks
  • Maintain reception area to a high standard
  • Answering calls and directing enquiry
  • Greeting Visitors to the office
  • General administrative tasks
  • Mail dispatch and collection
  • Scanning & Filing where needed

It is essential that you have a Current Driving License, great attitude, inclusive nature, desire to be the best you can be. 

The formal Traineeship will be conducted within the Real Estate Institute Queensland (REIQ) framework. This will involve you attaining your Real Estate Certificate during your traineeship. This along with ‘on the job’ experience with one of Queensland’s most dynamic property companies, will provide you with the best opportunity to understand more about the property Industry and how it can help you in a longer-term career path. 

You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, an ability to work under pressure and think on your feet to make magic happen. We employ people rather than positions
