Carpentry Apprentice

GPL Built has an opportunity for an apprentice carpenter to join the team. 

We specialise in all aspects of carpentry from framing, lock up and fix out, flooring, external cladding  decking and much more

Excellent opportunity to join a small family run business who is expanding this position will enable you to learn and grow from qualified tradies and surround yourself in a supportive environment. 

To be successful you will need to have the following: 

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work 
• Be reliable and punctual 
• Very keen to learn 
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools 
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry 
• Ability to get to and from work independently 

Preferred but not essential: 

• Driver licence & Own car is preferred
• A white card 
• Completed a pre-apprenticeship 
• Own tools preferred
• Looking for 2nd or 3rd year apprentice but will consider 1st year.
