Sign Writer Apprentice Wanted!
Are you ready to take your skills to the next level in the signage industry? Join our client in Slacks Creek who are a leader in custom signage and innovative design solutions. We're looking for a dedicated individual to assist in the manufacturing and design processes, working with cutting-edge technology and a variety of materials.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and layout of digital signs, incorporating materials like plastics and metals
- Operate advanced equipment, including digital printers, CNC routers, laser cutters, and vacuum forming machines
- Fabricate and paint signs, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles and color theory
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Take initiative, positive attitude and eager to learn
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
Requirements:
- Manual driver's license preferred
- White Card
- Willingness to work weekends
- Police check required
- Pre-employment medical check
