MEGT Employment Services - PaTH eLearning Designer / Employment Consultant

Objectives of the Division: 

The Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) work as a team to support; the CEO, Board of Directors, Executive Management and various stakeholders to achieve the strategic direction and objectives of the organisation. 

 

We facilitate and promote the successful operation of MEGT. The CEO's Office encourage the development, growth and progression of MEGT's people and systems ensuring compliance is maintained. 


 

Objectives of the Position: 

MEGT are contracted by government departments and businesses to conduct employment programs and other services. 

 

The PaTH eLearning Designer / Employment Consultant will assist with the operational delivery of the MEGT Information and Communication Technology (ICT) PaTH Pilot Program to meet the overall pilot goals. 

 

A key responsibility of this position is: maintaining the MEGT ICT PaTH Pilot Program elearning content currency; and designing content for continuous improvement and new development that meet all stakeholder needs.

 

The role will also be responsible for liaising with our EST providers to provide support for the delivery of the course material to participants.


 

Relationships:

Reporting to the PaTH Program Manager, and with a partnering relationship with People & Safety Talent Management, this role will develop relationships with all relevant internal MEGT divisions and external stakeholders.

Selection Criteria:

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • Experience within Government contracted employment services desirable

  • Intermediate level of skill with Microsoft products

  • Demonstrated experience with a wide range of learning technologies and applications for online/blended learning projects 

  • Understanding of learning and development theory and adult learning principles within a blended learning environment

  • Experience in elearning instructional design and content development

  • The ability to work cooperatively within the Division and across the organisation to support the national delivery of the MEGT ICT PaTH Pilot Program. 


 

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

  • Diploma in Adult Vocational Education/ Training Design and Development or relevant qualification in a related area or at least 5 years subsequent experience is desirable 

  • Experience with Litmos LMS, Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, Vyond, Camtasia and Audacity authoring tools will be highly regarded

  • Current driver licence

  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to influence 

  • Strong IT and written skills

  • Conflict management skills

  • Proven business development and networking experience

  • Customer focussed, outcome driven and deliver excellent customer service

  • Ability to work virtually with teams spread across Australia.


 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to direction from the PaTH Program Manager to perform tasks and duties in relation to the operation of the MEGT ICT PaTH Pilot Program

  • Assist with the facilitation of smooth, effective, engaging and compliant delivery of all programs

  • Administer the MEGT ICT PaTH Pilot Program participants user data and instructor requirements within the Litmos LMS including though not limited to: the bulk upload for external users; configuring teams; managing automated system email notifications; and configuring Instructor Led Training sessions

  • Administer the MEGT ICT PaTH Pilot Program elearning content ensuring consistency with MEGT elearning protocols including though not limited to: configuring content and settings; scheduling reporting; setting up team collections; assigning courses; and configuring assignment rules

  • Ensure the MEGT ICT PaTH Pilot Program elearning content is current  and is meetingthe needs of stakeholders including uploading of new and improved MEGT ICT PaTH Pilot Program elearning content to Litmos LMS

  • Utilise elearning authoring tools and technologies to design and develop content for currency, continuous improvement, and new content to meet the needs of stakeholders/as required

  • Responding to and supporting MEGT ICT PaTH Pilot Program participant’s LMS system based queries

  • Work closely with the other PaTH Employment Consultants to provide impeccable administration and customer service for the MEGT ICT PaTH Pilot Program 

  • Assist in the ongoing development of the MEGT ICT PaTH Pilot Program systems and processes

  • Monitoring of Program Support emails and phone lines and ensure site requests and queries are being responded to effectively and in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements 

  • Engage and ensure EST Trainers and External Providers meet the program requirements set out under the Service Contract entered into with MEGT 

  • Assist with the co-ordination of the flow of young job seekers from Employment Service Providers (ESP) to the EST: Pre-employment training – Internship – Employment Outcome

  • Market MEGT’s PaTH Program to Employers and ESPs as directed.

  • Conduct information sessions for ESP

  • Reverse market jobseekers into Internships and direct employment opportunities as required 

  • Attend employer workplaces with MEGT RMS staff as required

  • Work closely with ESPs, training partners, MEGT RMS staff and employers to ensure job seekers receive seamless customer service

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Responsibilities:

All staff are required to take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of other personnel who may be affected by their conduct.


 

National Police Check: 

This position is required to undertake a National Police Check prior to commencing employment. A State/Territory Working with Children or Working with Vulnerable People Check may also be required by any applicable State/Territory legislation. A clearance to work with children in connection with the delivery of Network Support Services is mandatory. The National Police Check must be renewed every two years as a minimum.
