About From the Ground Up
From the Ground Up is an eight-week program for people interested in developing a career in the resources and infrastructure sector including the mining, quarry and civil construction industries.
Participants will:
• gain essential knowledge about key industry processes
• learn about safety protocols and safe work practices
• develop communication and work-ready skills
• be supported by a team of experienced mentors
• have the opportunity to make connections with potential employers
Lay your foundation for a career in resources
From the Ground Up participants will undertake the TLI20420 Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure Work Preparation with Major Training, From the Ground Up’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO) partner.
From the Ground Up is funded by the state government’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) initiative.
