Connecting local students with local jobs
The Industry Training Hub – Shepparton program is run on behalf of the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) and helps Year 11 and 12 students improve their employment opportunities in areas of high youth unemployment.
Industry Training Hubs are managed by a full-time Career Facilitator, providing an on-the-ground presence while delivering training hub services.
Career Facilitators work with and encourage young people to build skills and choose occupations that are in demand in their local region, creating better linkages between schools and local industry, and promoting Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways.
