Located in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs, a proud Australian Manufacturer established since 1966, United Refrigeration (Australia) is the leading Commercial Refrigeration provider for design, manufacture, service and maintenance to the commercial, healthcare and hospitality industries.
We are currently looking to employ a 1st year apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. Working with qualified and highly skilled tradesman the successful candidate will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support to become a highly reputable tradesman in our field.
Duties will include:
- Assisting Qualified Refrigeration tradesman with their duties
- Attend TAFE to gain a Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning over a four year apprenticeship
- Pick up parts from suppliers
- General on site and factory duties
The successful candidate will have:
Essential:
- Rights to work in Australia
- Current drivers licence
- Fully vaccinated
- Ability to work in a team and work well with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
- A technical aptitude
- Be able to undertake manual/physical work
- Have a strong work ethic and be eager to learn
Preferred:
- Year 12 completion
- Police Check
- Be able to perform a full pre employment Medical Examination
