Administration Assistant Operations Trainee (Disability Support Services)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administration Assistant Operations Trainee to join our Disability Support Services team. This part-time, fixed-term role (19 hours per week) offers an initial 12-month contract with potential for review and extension. You will work closely with the Operations and Services Managers and other team members to provide vital administrative, marketing, and operational support, ensuring the smooth delivery of services to our NDIS participants.

Key Details:

  • Location is at Dennington Head Office
  • Hours are 19 hours per week
  • Pay is $27.69 an hour + superannuation
  • Leave Entitlements are 4 weeks annual leave (pro rata), 2 weeks sick leave (pro rata)
  • Employment Type is part-time, fixed-term (12 months) with six-month probation

What You’ll Do:

  • Support administrative functions, including data entry, filing, and using tools like Trello, ShiftCare, and QuickBooks.
  • Assist with marketing, promotions, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Manage maintenance requests and task allocation.
  • Provide secondary support for People and Culture activities such as recruitment and onboarding.
  • Maintain staff and participant records, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and other productivity tools (e.g., Trello, Canva)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (mandatory before starting)
  • Basic knowledge of HR policies and processes is advantageous
