The purpose of this role to assist the spare parts co-ordinator & Storemen with coordinating spare parts and consumables stock, back-ordered parts and accounting for all items held within the spare parts section.

Responsibilities/ Accountabilities Include but not limited to:

  • Maintain the spare parts stock area in a clean, tidy, structured, and documented manner.
  • Check all incoming supplier invoices against purchase orders for quantities supplied and/or backordered and pricing.
  • Prepare for and carry out stock-take at a minimum once a year • Assist in monitoring part numbers/descriptions.
  • Place goods received to correct bin location in warehouse.
  • Compile and dispatch orders when required to do
  • Maintain the PPE Register and ensure all staff have up to date safety equipment (uniforms, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, earmuffs & hard hat).

Action Auto Electrical & Mechanical

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry experience in stock control and spare parts management within the automotive repair industry.
  • Relevant computer skills.
