Dental Assistant Trainee

We are looking for a candidate who is wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training (and a certificate III) in dental assisting. 
Tasks will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Reception duties, including scheduling appointments 
  • Meeting and greeting clients into the office 
  • Taking HICAPS and EFTPOS payments 
  • Preparing patients & facilities for dental treatment 
  • Chair side assisting 
  • Maintaining stock 
  • Sterilization 
  • Infection control 
  • Manage office supplies stock and place orders 
  • office cleanliness

The successful candidate must have: 

  • Good work ethics

  • Reliable and punctual 
  • Mature approach to work 
  • Great attitude towards new challenges & professional development 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Strong organisational skills 
  • Previous experience in this field will be highly regarded, however not essential
