Business Trainee - QLD

MEGT, in partnership with Diverseco, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Trainee to join their team. This role is essential in supporting daily business operations by providing administrative assistance, coordinating office activities, and handling customer service and financial tasks.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key duies include

General Administration:

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate business records, including contracts, invoices, and reports.
  • Assist in preparing documents such as presentations, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
  • Organize and update customer and supplier databases.
  • Provide administrative support to management as needed.

Customer Service & Office Coordination:

  • Greet and assist visitors professionally.
  • Handle client and supplier interactions, ensuring strong working relationships.
  • Coordinate office operations, including ordering supplies and managing facilities.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for management and staff.

Finance & Accounts Support:

  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and liaise with the finance team.
  • Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure all business records comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with HR administration, including onboarding and employee record-keeping.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business information.
