About the Job:
Join the highly respected Locksmith trade through a four year apprenticeship, combining hands on experience with block release training at TAFE Queensland. You will master all aspects including: key cutting, lock assembly, access control, automotive, safes, installation work, and masterkeying. This role demands commitment to developing product knowledge and excellent communication skills. Flexibility for occasional out of hours work and travel is required. Award wages apply, and adult apprentices meeting the criteria are also encouraged to apply.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Honest, reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic

- Current drivers licence or working to achieve this
- Customer service skills or experience

- Strong desire to commit to ongoing learning opportunities
- Well presented with positive manner
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Suitable applicants should also be prepared to:
- Undertake a National Police History Check
- Complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Obtain a Security Provider Licence
- Obtain a Blue Card – Working With Children Check
