AW Signs at Kurnell are looking for a Metal Fabrication Apprentice. This new career will see you use your aptitude for working with computers, hand tools and possibly light machinery. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will work in all areas of the business to grow your knowledge and capability. This apprenticeship will be a stepping stone for you into an area of the business that you enjoy and wish to pursue as a further career.
Duties will involve:
- Working in the factory alongside the production team.
- Working in the print room alongside the print team.
- Working onsite alongside the installation team.
- Working in the Project Management Office alongside the project team.
The successful candidate will:
- Live within a reasonable/commutable distance
- Be a confident communicator.
- Be able to undertake manual/physical work.
- Motivated with a genuine interest in the fabrication industry.
- Be trustworthy and reliable.
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
Suitable applicants must have a genuine interest in pursuing digital printing, spray painting or metal fabrication as a career path, be motivated and willing to work hard to get trade qualified.
The successful candidate will undergo.
- Certificate III in Engineering fabrication.
