We are currently seeking an enthusiastic 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice butcher to join our small team.
We are a small family oriented community butcher store with retail and wholesale trade. This makes us a perfect place for you to learn. You will be working closely with the owner of the business who will provide you with valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support.
We trade 6 days a week (Mon to Sat) with a rotating weekend roster.
Your main duties include but not limited to:
- Prepare, slice and trim meat products
- Sausage making
- Prepare primal cuts
- Produce and sell value-added products
- Providing great customer service
- Apply hygiene and sanitation practices to WHS Standards
The ideal candidate will:
