We have a position for a trainee dental assistant to join the team! We are located at 495 Hampton Street in Hampton, in a modern state of the art practice.
We are looking for a candidate who is wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training (and a certificate III) in dental assisting. This is an excellent career opportunity with a cohesive and friendly team that provides excellent service and impacts the community.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Reception duties, including scheduling appointments
- Meeting and greeting clients into the office
- Taking HICAPS and EFTPOS payments
- Preparing patients & facilities for dental treatment
- Chair side assisting
- Maintaining stock
- Sterilization
- Infection control
- Manage office supplies stock and place orders
The successful candidate will be:

- Great attitude towards new challenges & professional development
- High attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Previous experience in this field will be highly regarded, however not essential.
- Available Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and the occasional Wednesday or Thursday.
