If your answer is yes, then Normet has a fantastic opportunity for you as a 1st year Auto Electrician Apprentice based in our Torrensville Branch.
Duties
- Assist with fitting electrical harnesses and test and adjust electrical components, systems, and sub systems
- Assist with inspections, audits, and servicing of equipment to specifications in the workshop
- Assist with electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on Normet vehicles and plant equipment
- Participate in inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and adjustment /repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

About You
- Committed, reliable, punctual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail with the ability to follow instruction
- Love working hands-on and comfortable to undertake manual labor
- Have good organisational and communication skills
- Committed to complete a full time 4 year apprenticeship, including practical studies
- Preferably have completed Year 11 or 12 and a keen interest in auto-electrics
- Previously worked with hand/power tools (desirable)
- Have work experience in the automotive industry (desirable)
- You must have full Australian working rights to be considered for this position.
The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance.
