The Role:
The Recruitment and Administration Trainee as our newest team member, you'll be at the heart of our office in Brisbane, seamlessly blending office administration and recruitment responsibilities. Your role will be instrumental in delivering top-notch service to our apprentices and employers, as well as ensuring the smooth flow of our operations and recruitment. Whilst working full time, you will have the opportunity to complete your Certificate 3 in Business throughout your first 12 months with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office tasks, including scheduling assistance, email correspondence, and maintaining a welcoming office environment.
- Communicate effectively with our apprentices, employers and shareholders via phone or email to support any queries regarding apprenticeships or Aussie Painters membership.
- Support development of new client relationships and business development within our network.
- Collaborate across departments whilst adhering to company policy, procedures, and processes.
Recruitment:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job listings to liaising with candidates and employers.
- Conduct interviews to assess candidates and their suitability for our vacancies.
- Work closely with our Marketing Coordinator to promote and ensure the accuracy of job postings.
- Manage the external vacancies and job posting for our members.
- General Recruitment administration, including maintaining our database of active and inactive candidates.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborative with a diverse team of people.
- 12 months work history within an office, hospitality, retail, or construction environment.
- Mature individuals looking to re-enter the workforce after an extended break.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suites
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Passion for fostering a positive team culture.
- Blue Card
