Camberwell Junction ELC, is a well established purpose built privately owned centre in Camberwell. We are seeking a trainee educator to join our team.
Close to shops, gym, public transport and all other amenities (onsite parking available). Centre closes at Xmas and offers work in a boutique centre with full management support.
We are looking for a trainee ( we will attend a suitable RTO ) who are looking to commence a Certificate III or looking to upskill into the Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care.
The successful candidate will have excellent mentors in the form of our Management team to assist with all aspects of programs and writing learning stories on our App.
You will be energetic, flexible and be able to engage with children, parents and staff. You will also demonstrate the ability to use your own initiative and have proven experience working with children.
The successful applicant must have:
- Current WWCC, Level 2 First Aid certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and be capable of developing warm & welcoming relationships with children & families
- Knowledge of VEYLDF, NQF and current regulations a definite advantage
- Enthusiasm, Energy and a genuine passion for working with children and enhancing their learning
- You must know how to assist the room leader with observations and program planning
- Knowledge of Kindy Hub an advantage
- Above all - the ability to think outside the square
