Skilling Queensland Workers and MEGT have a fantastic opportunity for First Nations candidates to take part in an 18-week full time work and learn program earning a Certificate I in Construction at completion.
About the role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in the basics of the construction industry all whilst being paid to learn. This 18-week program will see you working 5 days a week on various projects in and around Sandgate, allowing you to complete a Certificate I in Construction.
What we are looking for:
* First Nations
* Live in or around Sandgate (to ensure ability to get to and from job sites)
* Not participated in a Skilling Queenslanders for Work program previously
* Reliable
* Committed
* Have copies of photo ID and birth certificate/passport
